Who is Sue Gillespie? I am a lady who happens to be a wife, mother, and teacher. We live in western Pennsylvania in a small borough on five acres with a barn and a creek. I enjoy the great outdoors, long walks, and people. I love the idea of writing, and I don't do enough of it. My time is often spent teaching elementary and junior high students in a local Christian school. Right now, my life is decent and good and I am enjoying it.

Background: Born in rural Wisconsin. College in Iowa (Luther College), teacher in the Iowa public schools (Mason City) and in Washington State public schools (Spokane District 81), with an M. Ed. from Whitworth College in Spokane. My husband is an engineer and we have lived in many locales around the beautiful USA with our two sons.

Recently our family has weathered two years of cancer with my husband who is now in remission and our college-age son, who is now also in remission. You will be hearing about some of these "adventures in cancer" in my writings. We are lately very thankful to receive the "all clear" reports.
